About Us
The Melton Dog Obedience Club started in 1979 and has served the Melton Shire & surrounding districts since then, the Club has two (2) of it’s original members still at the club. The Club had been at the same place since 1980 which was Blackwood Drive behind the Coburn Primary School.
As of the 26th March 2017 we will be at the Melton South Reserve Northcote St Melton South
Aims
Melton Dog Obedience Club aims to "Foster and encourage the training and care of dogs in an atmosphere of good will, knowledge, competitiveness and active participation in club activities".
Training Days
The Club trains every Sunday morning between the First Sunday in February until the first Sunday in December. No Training on a Sunday of a long week end.

Fees
Family Annual Fee $ 80.00 Single Annual Fee $ 60-00
Training Fee (per week) $ 2.00 per dog
DOGS
VICTORIA Liability Levy inclusive in Fee. $7-50 per Handler or $ 15-00 per Family If you are a Dogs Vic member Levy is Deducted
Heat policy
For handler and dog safety when the temperature on Saturday night news is going to be over 30 degrees on Sunday in Melton there will be NO TRAINING.
