RULES

a)  Name tags must be worn during training

b)  All dogs over the age of 3 months must be registered with a local council ( whether or not they  come from Melton) and registration receipts supplied each year.

c)  Current vaccination certificates must be produced every 12 months when due, these are notified in the Newsletter each month.

d)  Bitches in season must be kept away from the training ground.

e)  Dogs must always be on lead, unless told to remove it by an Instructor, between the hours of 9:00am and 12 noon. After these times the dog must still be under control if the handler has them off lead.

f)   Dogs are only allowed into the club shed to be fitted for equipment.

g)  No fouling, handler responsible for cleaning up after their dogs, pooper marker and bucket.

h)  Dogs who are in ill health are not to be brought into class or they will be asked to leave.

i)  No smoking in class

k)  No fighting, dogs or handlers, No hitting or otherwise abusing dogs ( offenders are to the reported to the Chief Instructor/Training Co-ordinator)

l)  Correct Training aids shall consist of suitable lead and correction collar. Should a handler attend two consecutive training session with-out suitable aids they will be refered to the Chief Instructor/Training  Co-ordinator

m)  Dogs who, in the opinion of the Instructor, are a danger to handlers or other dogs will be asked to be muzzled. The muzzle will remain until the Chief Instructor/Training Co-ordinator advises otherwise.

CLOTHING

a)  No thongs closed shoes / runners prefered

b)  No full or flowing clothes

c)  Jackets to be done up

d)  Jeans or shorts, runners, gumboots for wet days.
